| The National Electrical Contractors
Association, founded in 1901, is a national trade association with
over 100 affiliated chapters and is the leading representative for
professional electrical construction firms.
NECA’s
Central Indiana Chapter was established in 1946 and its electrical
contractor members install and maintain
all types of electrical power technologies and high-tech communication
systems. In addition, NECA is dedicated to enhancing the industry
through continuing education, progressive labor relations, information
dissemination, and promotional activities.
To better serve
its members, NECA’s Central Indiana Chapter has six divisions
that include the Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Kokomo/Marion, Lafayette,
Muncie/Richmond and Terre Haute areas. Each division also has its
own training center for apprenticeship
and continuing education.
